Sayid Mohamed Abullah Hassan lived in Mogadishu and studied under the Reer Faqi Ulama

Mogadishu was a prominent city of Islamic study. The Reer Faqi Ulama created an efficient organization for supporting scholars from other regions who could not afford the cost of study. People from all regions across Somalia were provided with accommodation and three meals a day, free of charge.

I was surprised to learn that Sayid Mohamed Abullah Hassan lived in Mogadishu for quite some time and benefited immensely from the scholarship offered by the Reer Faqi Ulama.
