Siyaasi Abdillahi Ibrahim Habane recalls the intra Isaaq wars and the role Samaroon played in it.

Minute 13:15

200 soldiers were sent from Xariirad town (Saylac District) alone, and 10,000 Soldiers in total were mobilised from Samaroon in 1994 to quell the internal strife.

If it weren't for us, Isaaqs would have slaughtered each other in the tens of thousands. Now, with the potential for a repeat of such events due to deteriorating circumstances, we won't be there to save the day. If anything, we will cheer on our political allies, Garxajis, and watch it all crumble. :manny:

@Arkan I noticed in my studies of Somali history that clans had 'security' pacts but not political pacts, kinda like how mj/warsan had two different kingdoms but they always had a security pact or like all harti have a security pact but prefer separate govt.

I think it was the same with Gadabursi as the british signed a 'separate' treaty with you too I think, if they saw the place as 1, why create 5 treaties kkkkkkk.

But after 91, a-lot of what u see has flipped as now clans wants to unite politically at all cost becuz of fear of other clans. It's strange. But untill Somalia becomes a normal nation, i doubt clan loyalty and unity at all cost approach will change

@Arkan Samaroons are the most educated clan per capita with 'quality', I give u guys that, hands-down. Somali realized the benefit of education, especially in the diaspora as they love the universities cause they know how this is lacking in the continent(brain drain), it's worth gold >>> human capital. Where-as when they r in sub sahara africa or mid-east they will just set up a business and not waste their time with their banana education system.

Political pacts were historically useless unless clans had overlapping land, for instance.

The place wasn't seen as one, though. Every major northern clan had its Ugaasate and, to a lesser extent, Sultanates that ruled. The British studied the land and found out that the clans were divided, and each had a historical culture of self-governance and societal organisation within their own land

Nah, that's bullshit. There are individuals who studied abroad with PhDs and whatnot, but the vast majority have the same mediocre education as everyone else.

This education stuff is utilised to pacify the beesha, and I don't rock with it. There would be something to show for it if it were true.

Hopefully Samaroon don't repeat that same mistake, when you guys joined the war against Garxajis we were already fighting Habar Awal, Habar Jeclo, Arap, Ayuub and Oromo mercenaries. The war wouldn't have ended in a stalemate if you didn't tilt the balance kkk But we hold no grudges.

Marya Alool prisoners of Garxajis at the conclusion of the war, it was truly everyone vs Us kkk

It won't be repeated, that's for sure.

It was disgraceful on our part. We should've let you finish them off. :wow:

BREAKING NOW | Awdal State Supreme Council nominates HE Mukhtar Ali Aden as the new president of Awdal State. Unlike previous president-in-exile, Mukhtaar Ali Adan is in Awdal, and as he just shared with Daljir Media, he is in the middle of putting together the Awdal State Defense Forces. The newly nominated president vowed to remove occupying Somaliland militia by force. President Mukhtaar, on the phone with Daljir in an undisclosed location in Awdal, tells Daljir that "the struggle to remove the cancerous tumor that has been growing in Awdal State is just beginning."
Is this true, Iโ€™d link the tweet but dk how to. Looks like samaroon are preparing to open a new front.

When i do comparison of somalia remember its from.a perspective of bad to worse not good and bad. Amoud in a somali context is quality or else all Somalis wouldn't flee there to fuel their student trade.

They seem to be more honest meaning higher iq then the avg clan becuz they build a university that is way better in quality then what other clans build which means the rest of somali clans are the ones holding us down due to lower iq.

If they proven this aspect imagine we let them to run somalia. This is a universal measurement that their more higher quality in one area that can be argued they are higher quality in all areas if given power.

I would love to send Puntland local academics to knowledge transfer with samaroon to help us build proper universities in puntland. As puntites we don't believe in shame of knowledge transfer becuz we want to keep up with the world and not devolve to aborigines. But we wont knowlesge transfer from anyone if they dont have proof and not just igu sawir or media propaganda. We want to see all Somalis fleeing there first as evidence.

@Arkan as puntites we need knowledge transfer from dds and even hargeisa and mogadishu to develop our general and specialist hospitals as we are lacking there and only succeeding in providing universal access to maternity health urban and rural. We addressing only infant mortality only. But anything specialized we are very much behind mogadishu, hargeisa, and dds. Because our people flee there to use their services which shows ceebteena.

Only our markets are better in somalia becuz others come here for that only but not to access our hospitals.or universities which has exposed our low iq only. Puntites dont know iq can be measured by comparing the quality of region vs other region or who has better public instiututions, crime rates, isbaaro . Highly intelligent people have low corruption, low isbaaro, low crime. Why would intelligent people need.to be corrupt, isbaaro, high crime? They don't because they are already intelligent. All of this are negative symptoms of ghettos and only poor people resort to high corruption, crime, isbaaro because they know maskaxdooda ma dhisna(inside their skull is like gorilla brain) and that's why poverty is rampant there

@Arkan majerten are not like hawiye we tanasul and will expose ceebteena only because we want to.be the best and suck.on and knowledge transfer to fix where our weakness is so we dont become aborigines or ghettos and the laughing stock of the nation. Anagu waan is gabana so al hamdulilah with caqli celin(knowledge transfer).

I wouldn't call them pro SL, they're apolitical.

For example, they did not have any pro-Laascaanood war demonstration, while other major cities like Hargeisa and Burco had large demonstrations showing support for the war.
They aren't pro-Laascaanood war, but you forgot Riyaale a Samaroon built SL and he was elected twice which made alot of Samaroons patriotic landers.

What Kursi bro? Somaliland project has officially ended, no prestige in ruling half of Hargaysa. Every community shall self-govern.

This is Africa. A guy with a tekniko is more valuable than an engineer over there.
