Saddam Hussein would have changed the Middle East forever

If that's true then that is a big change to now where Iran is funding militas like Hezbollah and Houthis to fight Israel rather successfully
I used to be believe that too but after doing some research Iran is controlled opposition theirs high level documents showing how khomeini was put in place by western intelligence. Even religiously the Shia have always aided the kuffars against the Sunni. Iran controls two borders with Israel Lebanon and Golan heights Hezbollah is 100k men with 200k rockets, PMF in Iraq is 200k why haven’t they attacked?

Exactly. Iran was provoking them even when the shah was in power. Using the Mullah’s to gain influence over the local Shia population is something the Iranian government has been doing for a very long time

Saddam should’ve never invalided Kuwait. Saddam said he had evidence of Kuwait slant drilling, so he could’ve used diplomatic measures to pressure Kuwait
He had no choice Iraq was loosing billions of dollars Saddam also was selling oil in Euro and making more money than countries who sold it in dollars.
KSA was also on his side at the time because they were upset that Kuwait and the UAE were exceeding the OPEC oil quotas, pushing the price of oil down in the process
KSA was never on the side of Iraq GCC countries don’t want a Sunni state that challenges them.
He should’ve known that Kuwait is the west’s favorite country in the GCC, and when you’re the favorite country of the west they’ll defend you even when you’re wrong. You mention Israel’s attack on the Iraqi nuclear facility, that is a perfect example of the west defending their allies in the region even when they’re wrong
40% of Kuwait’s oil is owned by a British oil company GCC are lapdogs of the west. About Israel the west will never let a middle eastern country challenge Israel or jeopardize their security/borders. The west sells the best military equipment to Israel but not to Arab states it’s why no Arab state or middle eastern allied west state isn’t getting F-35. The west even sanctioned turkey for buying S-400 from Russia.
Saddam was working with the French to develop a nuclear facility that wasn’t even going to be used to be developed weapons but the Israelis still destroyed it. they were condemned but were never punished
It was the Russians who actually helped him not the French he bought a research reactor/enriched uranium and fighter jets from the French.

Btw, what are your thoughts on Pan-Arabism?

He didn't need to turn Iraq into a mess. It could have been a standard pro-West Arab state like GCC or Jordan instead of psuedo-republican qashin.
iraq had a pro west monarchy and it was kept poor. the natural way was to nationalize oil and become anti west. iraq is too sectarian to be a gcc state and iraqis have too much dhiig to be a vassal for uncle sam.
