Replicating The French Revolution in Somalia

The French Revolution brought France from decline into becoming the most powerful European state in early 1800s under Napolean.
It changed Europe and set the road for modern states as well spreading liberal ideas across the continent as well as secularism.

Should we replicate it and instead of adopting secular and liberal ideas, we reform our Islamic understanding and the establishment of Af Somali in Islamic texts, a new astronomical Lunar calendar, the building of a new holy city (Hajj is still wajib) dedicated to Allah swt which has never been done along with a grand masjid which should be largest in the world and a wonder for the ages to come

- No one was willing to work together or give up a little for a permanent Somalia

It is an interesting concept. Islam should unite Somalis, but u forget Somalis are tribalist first and Muslims second. U have the south people with their red eyes killing in the name of tribal affiliation and u have the North people with their red teeth cursing blasphemously as "Diintaadi waas"

You might think your people control the state government but let's be real... it's controlled by foreigners just like FGS.

If a group of well meaning Puntites take over Puntland then I could easily see them govern it much better than the current foreign owned institution behind the Puntland government.

Only if interests are aligned in a single state could you come together to build a constitution.

We aren't inherently chaotic it's just that all of Somalis don't have the same interests shared across states.

Seems like a revolution in every state is the only solution to our predicament since I don't see how foreign controlled elections will give us our sovereignty back.

Revolutions require a relatively educated populace (hence why they’re usually started by students, ie, Tiananmen Square (China), Tahriir Square (Egypt), and many Latin revolutions I can’t remember for their names rn), OR to be operated by an intelligentsia who lead the “peasant” masses who’re prone to putting their circumstances on God vs. holding their leaders accountable.

There’s a historic trend of revolutionaries being horrible leaders, but they don’t ever give up the power to someone more suitable to LEAD (they’re just good at the REVOLT end). Expert dismantling and building/leading require radically different skill sets.

It would require educated Somali diaspora to manage and guide it. Only real tribalists are people back home. Also to deal with tribalism, there should be an agreement before hand on what happens after and to stick to that agreement

This is a good proposal sxb, but we need a unified state and if we to slow to act, each mini revolution will be crushed
