Independence won't happen. You're better off lobbying for more powerful positions and possibly becoming "king makers" by playing power politics. No doubt there are those prejudice against Maay language and their speakers, however a pursuit for independence will lead you nowhere. Just look to our friends in the north and their 30 year project.
