For all anybody knows they could’ve been trading with them while being nomads my own family is probably one few who stopped being nomads 100 years ago 98% of Somalis were nomads less than 100 years ago few hundred years before that they were all probably nomads

Xamar was actually inhabited by Somalis since 200BC as recored by the Greeks. The city was called Sarapion back then.

I don't know if they're like this in real life but here on sspot they're the most decent, down to earth folks. @embarassing @Someone, @young farah, @FSMDOA @TSP @yuusufdiin @Shanshiyo1234 and @XamarCade are all reer xamar and they're really down to earth. I don't know if reer xamar are like this irl though. That's the big question. And @XamarCade wtf is going on here lool

Reer xamar as in Benadiri? There’s ethnic Somalis and Benadiri in the city where I live and everybody gets along. I don’t understand why people fight each other’s qabil on the internet.
