That said
I decline to feel any sympathy for this situation
Why
I have a family member who works with the CPS ( children protective services)
Almost everyone is a mandated reporter, meaning that a teacher, doctor and daycare folks are by law required to report any abuse observed on a child. Even after it is reported it is investigated whereby it has to substantiated. So much layers has to be passed through before the decision of removal is carried out. The CPS is deathly afraid of lawsuit and so they do their due diligence.
Therefore, you tell me why I should feel sorry for someone who claims their children were confiscated.
These 3 reasons are cause for removal
1. Educational neglect (child misses 2 months of school without an excuse even after parents have been repeatedly contacted and have been given a warrant )
2. Medical neglect (Parents refuse to allow the child to have medications for reasons ranging from religious conviction, downright laziness, cautionary tale told by suugo scientists eedos not to immunize or go through with a life saving surgery ).
3. Physical abuse
