There is a reason Niger is getting rid of the USA and the west. The USA will steal our wealth right in front of our noses like they did in Niger and we wont see a penny.

Uranium is literally the worst mineral wealth imaginable. I wouldn't trust Somalis with that at all.

Only if they discover Australian/Kazakh amount of Uranium would it be worth it, and even then it'd have to be a very slow process to clear people out.

With Oil the worst that can happen is the government ministers just steal it, with uranium the region could be uninhabitable.
