To sum it up, few families control the political and economical system, having monopolies in the latter. No GDP growth, economical growth solely relies on artificial housing market. All restrictions on immigration loosened, even non-skilled are allowed in.

Expensive, no housing, crumbling health care system, too many immigrants coming each year (500k in country of 40 million), every industry is pretty much a monopoly, bad transit systems, crackheads are getting more violent.
