That Subreddit is insufferable but this is a post I can genuinely get behind and agree with.
As per usual the comments struggling to comprehend and being smug but the OP does highlight a real problem that's happened and unfortunately a problem that will continue to get worse as time goes on unless a massive change happens in leadership.
It's honestly insane to compare side by side Somalis of the Past and Somalis of Today-shame to see this is what we've mutated into.

Replace Somali with any other ethnic group and this statement is true for pretty much everywhere in the world. I understand OP's concerns but its unrealistic to be expecting Somalis to speak like they do in gabays in 2025 and for reer magaal (tuulo) to have the same culture as reer miyi.
The food thing is definitely true but you need an actual government to be regulating that sort of stuff

somalia is reliant on foreign imports because the country is almost entirely arable and the livestock is not dispersed or bountiful enough to sustain the entire country. it is not the 19th century where there are few urban hubs and everyone is raiding camels from others 
it is a responsibility of any centralized govt to atleast try and provide an adequate food supply to its people. as for the language, i cannot speak for southerners but reer waqooyi have maintained continuity in our tongue. a stupid post by a stupid contrarian bro thought he was thinking outside the box kkkk
