According to UN sources and Ethiopian/Galbeed newspapers, these two zones have passed the threshold to be classified as a emergency (15% wasting), it’s not as bad as the crisis in 2023 but it’s very concerning. In parts of the Afar and Oromia regions there is also an emergency.
