You’re only wrong on the eugenics part. Polygamy is so destructive to society yet it cannot be outlawed because we pledged allegiance to a ridiculous ideology. Imagine not being allowed to fix a problem because someone said it’s haram.

The way Somalis practise polygamy is not in line with Islam and is destructive to our society as it produces dysfunctional families.

The prophet didn’t personally like to eat iguanas while the Arab tribes did (and still do). But just because the prophet didn’t eat it, it wasn’t haram.
