I can never get shit done at work between meetings and people constantly coming to my office to talk to me about their bullshit. when i used to work from home, i would watch countless tutorial videos and learn new things almost every day, and become more skilled in computer programming. i feel like my performance at work if so much more worse, because i can't concentrate on productivity for more then an hour without someone talking about the weather or their weekend.
Between explaining to boomers how basic concepts in computing works, and having D*** measuring contests in an office setting, i am really trying to figure out how companies in America make money? why are they paying these people? what do they actually do?
