I am not married just yet, but I do have someone I am getting engaged to very soon.


How did you find your wife/husband and how did your first convo/interaction start ? (I.e Connections, online dating, school, work) -

I meet her on a trip to Mogadishu, she had just come back from studying in China as a Pharmacist. I just walked to her and started to talk to her. People back home are more open than say in the west.


How long you spoke before you started the marriage talk? I wasn't messing around, she finished her studies and I was looking for someone, so we got straight to the point, cleared up a few things, and bam.

I meet my wife in school. We were in the same class. We started as friends till we catched feelings for each other. Our first romantic convo was in a Starbucks when we was 14.


How long you spoke before you started marriage talk?

I think we always talked about but it wasn't until we was 19 that we spoke about it more seriously. The deal breaker for me was her family really approved of me despite our different ethnic backgrounds.
