Masha'Allah Galmudug Galmudug will no doubt rise exponentially once it has a functional port build, with that constant cash flow from the Port we can finally consolidate our Galmudug Insha'Allah.
Bohol and XaajiXumbo what do guys think about how this new port once finished will impact the region.
Somaliland and Puntland were build with revenue coming from their respected ports Berbera and Bosaso.

In my opinion it will be a game changer. Hobyo port once constructed will serve the entire central Somalia area + Ethiopia's Somali region which is not far away.
Galmudug is prospering

Everyone knows that it will be a game changer once the port is build, Galmudug will truly have established itself as an functioning state that can guard its territorial rights and satisfy the disenfranchised citizens of northern Mudug.
Whole of Mudug is what our Galmudug constitution states, hopefully with the port we will see the realisation of that goal.
A state can only succeed if it has a continuous source of cash-flow, and that is the ports.

Hobyo will definintely compete with Bosaso and Berbera the former enjoying monopoly for the past 27 years because being the only peaceful functioning port closest to the central regions in terms of accessibiliy.

It’s no port there. They have to build from scratch. No infrastructure to Ethiopia.
Djibouti to Addis have railway and road.
Berbera is working but need to expand capacity. And build the Berbera corridor to wajale.
They will not compete with Berbera or Bosaso.
