I have tickets to the WC and I have friends that live there, these rules are cap.
The Qataris are literally having dozens of festivals that are serving alcohol and beach clubs where there will be people in bathing suits. Not to mention all the loud sounds from these events and the games.

Seeing immoral people seeing how people not trying to imitate pigs and monkeys lifestyle is going to be eye opener for them
Those are designated areas were these westerners can practice their degenarate garbage
The problem is some of these westerners wanna show off in public to piss off the locals cuz they think their culture is more superior etc., plus they hate Muslims
Qatar is giving them a warning especially those khaniis degenerates
Qatar has nightclubs and bars as well as a lot of beach clubs in which you will see people in swimwear. They also have liquor stores etc.
It is not as austere as people think.
Qatar themselves said everyone is welcome and that they’ll accommodate alcohol, it’s literally only the British tabloids that has made it look like Qatar is Saudi Arabia.
By the way, I have no problem with any “strict” rules that Qatar sets as it doesn’t impact me but I also don’t like fake news from tabloids.

Muslims want to have a "our country our rules" moment so bad when literally nobody cares and the things that are "prohibited" will still occur
only one off license in the whole of qatar, to buy alcohol from it you have to a license, and if you are Muslim, you are not getting a license. Yes there are a few bars and clubs, but other than that Qatar is strict.
Saudi Arabia (before MBS) had whole compounds in which westerners could carry out their acts of debauchery such as alcohol etc. Only difference is he has started to make it more accessible for the general populace
From what I heard they’re building more liquor stores for the WC plus I heard of Muslim families that get access to alcohol there.
The only real restrictions are on Qataris and even then, they get away with it.
You have to also remember, these are more or the same, similar rules to the UAE not so long ago.
