Allah ha kula garabgalo, wuxuu fududeeyo uun baa fududaada. I have throughout the years written down the words, a few hundreds I'd guess, that I was unfamiliar with and would then ask my parents for explanation and in what situation, and how, they're used. Alxamdulillah, at first I used to struggle to even hear what words where chanted by the gabyaas, and now I not only hear but understand aswell. How do you do to expand your somali skills?

I usually read a lot of articles in Somali and at home we talk mainly Somali, but lately I've noticed my speaking is getting on nacas level I've to get back on track again

Mashallah. I try to speak Somali with my family, but some Swedish words slip in here and there though... I also ask my parents what certain words mean and how I can use them in sentences. I listen to Somali gabyaas, and those sort of things as well.

I too wish my Somali was as good as the guy's (it's damn well perfect)...but dont let his level discourage you, he said in one of his videos he lived in Somaliland for 8 years as a kid. I wish I had that opportunity
