Gadhweyn is a sub clan of muse ismaaciil. Most of Muuse ismaaciil are reer hawd while gadhweyn are from Sanaag. Muuse cabdalle are from saaxil while muuse carre are mostly reer hawd and some reside with gadhweyn in Sanaag.
