The world is divided into developing/developed world. We r clearly in the developing world. Each country economy is measured against their 'GDP' and what they produce.

1st world - Research n Development(R N D), Service industry
2nd world - Manufacturing and Service industry
3rd world - Agriculture n Service industry

Which model will we adopt? The main industry we choose and it's 'share' against our GDP will determine what category we fall into.

I see PL discussing a mix of 3rd world n 2nd world industries. However they don't discuss what will be the largest industry as that will determine what category we fall into.

I say n repeat many times, we cannot make agriculture our largest employer, we should only do this occupation to make PL food secure becuz it's a low GDP earner and that's why those countries are poor.

Puntites we should be 'cruel' let HAGS invest their time/labor/materials into a dead industry. I suspect that's why were richer then they were as we did fishery/livestock/frankincense which were good money makers due to 'low supply'.

PL please put emphasis on infrastructure. Airports/Ports/Electricity/Sewage/Drainage/Water access n quality/Roads/ and universal access to health n schools plus 'jobs' for our citizens preferrably high or medum income generating jobs. This is what is measured.

Dont follow HAG tower crap nonsense noone measures that. Illahi ayaa inkaaraay their ancestors to do farming now their doing towers. None of which matter when nations r measured. I wish HAG just lets MJ rule so we can take Somalia out of HAG MENTALITY.

I urge puntites im HALF HAG im exposed to their stupidity daily. I urge Puntland to ensure investors we invite we 'vet' their investment and it's effect to deliver on job creation, so our ppl income grows.

PL will have product producing warehouses, plants, manufacturing, fishery, livestock, frankinece, gold, bank loans to start new businesss that r 'vetted' how much it can employ, put emphasis there to reduce unemployment n spread income.

A tower doesnt generate a cent towards hag ppl they sit there n wonder why their wallets r empty, never follow that model.

@Farm im always researching countries GDP n industries, how many it employs so it can reduce our unemploymnt, what the income is for workers, what revenue owners can generate so investors come into it, how many other knock-on effects it has on market growth and the actors involved in the value chain.

That's why I don't waste my time on HAG n SNM that much anymore

@Farm we definitely need 'raw material' investment, cut out the transport n overseas imports. Cement and Asphalt plants are wise investments that PL shud target investors to fill this void due to the construction/infrastructure boom that is happening and it will end up way cheaper to buy locally then import/transport/pay multiple taxes/, we could be the whole nation's supplier.

The other one is 'medical manufacturing' I noticed we cud tap into Africa n Somalia markets with 'no competition', produce the needed medicines. Makhir can tap into local student trade. Every 18 year old wants quality education, they have the facilities, only need to bring overseas qualifid instructors, accrediation of it's curriculum, industry recognized, etc.

@Farm we shud also send business men to Congo n join the rape fest happening there. Get their diamonds n create Puntland warehouses that focuses on 'refining it, cutting it'. That could produce thousands of jobs and we can secure high spender markets. We shud keep frankincense refining locally also, same with creating fish oil from our fish. The key to economy is to join the 'value chain' from other industries somewhere.

@Mujahid2002 unless we can 'value-add' and join 'value chain' by taking farming products and producing other products, I urge us not to join the 'bottom feeders' exporting bananas/mangos, the amount of time/labor/investment wasted on a penny based industry is sad, it's intended for sad ppl.

@Farm We need to approach airplanes/car manufacturers to create spare-part warehouses in Puntland that can serve the regions mostly used vehicles.
