One thing good about HSM, he doesn't care for international protocol and lets Puntland do business with international partners without any SFG oversight. PL international profile is back on the rise after the slumber period with Farmajo who closed all doors internationally for the regions. I love when I see Puntland sitting with sovereign nations as equal partner.
The world must see that you can invest directly in safe PL and we are ready to cooperate with many nations. Thankfully that bs somalinimo chapter is done and we can move forward with our vision. I am influenced by Australia, they were 6 separate regions and colony under the UK. Hal meel lagama hukumi jirin, over 200 years they built their states separately and then came together as 1 federal nation. That's how I want Somalia to be. Lets forget building a state federal that should come LAST, let all the regions be separate for 100 years and when they are all 'developed' we can then discuss how to make it even better thru federation like Australia did.
Even the ppl will be different by then, forgetting the civil war, siyad barre, etc. U will have sane people talking now due to having separate and developed regions.
