Thats still half a mil just for 2500 heads. Paying that much for 100k soldiers would be 20mil per month, 240mil p.a. If their only source of income is tax, then the FG won't ever have that many. You also have to buy, maintain, train and build. Too much money having an army.

If you double their salaries military expenditure would be around 500m, for governments around the world thats not much but its huge for fgs, thats half of their total budget

An army has to buy, maintain what they bought, train soldiers, build barracks, bases and airfields. No money for that in Somalia.
