Puntland needs to take advantage of our airports

Puntland has one of the best landin strips and can handle high traffic but we have not secured any major airlines. the only airlines that fly here are, jubba, daalo, ocean, bluesky and air djibouti which are all owned by somalis. we need to secure a route straight from turkey, china, eritrea, sudan, saudi arabia, oman, and zambia(zambia and oman are the most important due to the high amount of puntlanders). this will provide more import/export oppurtinites in the form of air cargo. we will provide more jobs. the tourism industry will also receive a much needed boost and this will boost our economy. Lets create a online campaign forcing our government to initiate this asap.

The airports will never get off the ground because it makes no sense for real airlines to fly there. Puntland has low population compared to rest of Somalia or SL. It makes more sense for major airlines to fly to higher populated areas like hargeisa. Maybe Bosaso can one day get a real airline to fly there
