Puntland Must Adjust The Death Penalty

I know the death penalty sounds effective but the results are not there. People are still committing murders, terrorism, why would they if this sentence was effective? The problem with the death penalty is, it's not a punishment to put people to SLEEP. Plus when your in a poor society, they may even LOOK forward to it(how terrorist brainwash them about jannah) due to their life on earth being so miserable.

I hope we have a serious discussion in Puntland about this. The death penalty is more effective tool as long as the person is rich or a politician that has done corruption as they have something to live for, it loses effectiveness when the person has nothing on earth and may actually be 'looking' for a way out and therefore doing crimes. The best punishment is to see the criminal/terrorist 'status' if he is just some poor person, we must put them on 'forced labor' camps, once the person is someone with status or wealth then the death penalty is effective.

Mark my words when the poor guy realizes he will be essentially a 'slave' on a forced labor camp for the rest of his life, he will never risk committing a crime because it will put him in a worse place then he already was, that's effective for them to make them go to even a worse place then poverty(slavery). Effective punishment must involve the person(losing something they value) and their life isn't valuable unfortunately due to their living conditions on earth.

But I do agree death penalty has effectiveness as long as the person is of high status in the community or has wealth, they will now lose all that. The punishment will mean they 'lose' and effective punishment has to have a 'loss' involved that is RELEVANT to that person. But taking the life of someone who doesn't even love their life on this earth will not be seen as a 'deterrent' for the poor criminal/terrorists.

I am certain to about 95% degree we cannot win the war on terrorism if we don't make the foot-soldier say to the idiot payin him off to do instability if he doesn't say 'im not risking my life to become a slave on labor camp and be caught in terrorism' in PL, I don't want to go from being poor to slave. This will kill the soul out of terrorist recruitments over-night. But if we send them to death penalty, shabab has that covered he already brainwashed them that they will enjoy better life in janno and to do any crime they wish on earth since their poor they see that as a good trade off.

I would love to see them in work camp 4 life, slaving away breaking and processing rocks and then packaging it as their 'GDP production' for Puntland 8 to 12, 4-8 with fridays off only, which PL govt can store in warehouses and re-distribute to the community and business people who are doing construction or road building.

Kelebku we must extract value out of his miserable life till death as he has to re-pay back dembiga uu umadani ka galay. I can see him crying 'yaa ii celiyo noolashi hore oo iska liito lakin work campkani waa naar aduun'. Shabab recruitment will dry up over night as every poor person they use to harm PL, will say 'allow alle halkasi uma socono oo na abiidsan doono under a liberalized name 'work camps'. This will also eliminate any murder or killing in PL whether it's criminal or clan related. It will also scare ppl with status or politicians not to commit corruption as death penalty is waiting 4 them which will mean they have to gamble their life which has 'value' for the Grave.

I agree, we need to break terrorist backs with hard labour and then let them die from their injuries or whatever poisoning they get from the materials they work with.
