It's a shame wat a pittance we sold the most strategic marine route(the entry, exit) of the red sea channel, the only other route in comparison is 'egypt' canal since it sits at the entry/exit of the red sea, the rest of the red sea doesn't matter since they can't get in and out and stuck in the middle.

Im suprised Russia isn't coming to threaten the U.S in Djibouti that it can't move in/out if the russians were here. Their all deep in the 'red sea' channel not manning the 'entry/exit' of the channel, very stupid strategic mistake by western n chinese powers.

We sell it to arabs, the uae recognized israel and sold socotra military base to them which is next door to us, u wud think we would work with israel and get top grade weapon exchange not the UAE which is a bottom feeder nation who's whole economy is owned by foreigners and locals live on that welfare. I am not mad, it’s just not a good idea for a country like Somalia to be having regional states sign deals with foreign states. Much easier to play us of against each other and end up signing crap deals. There’s also the national security implications, if it’s not in our national interest as a country then why shouldn’t the FGS have an input?

@bidenkulaha i've noticed with somali leaders especially siyad generation, they put their personal interest over regional or federal interest. Do they know signing bonus might make them rich but it's cheaper to bribe them then pay you what your offering is really worth, plus it's the wealth ur country ppl have is what makes u strong n respected not what personal individuals have.
