This is great and I hope we 'secular' Somalis who believe a govt should be grounded in freedom and no laws should be passed against freedom of ideas, speech, religion, political views, freedom of protest and all general freedom articles since these are human rights and above 'muslim' rights, if muslims believe they are not apart of the human family, we must attack them where-ever we see them, sharciga humanity ayaa ka sareeyo sharciga 'quranka' as Adam was given free will first not Islam or religion first that comes after thru 'freedom of choice' and that's up to you but disbeliever rights must be protected also to disbelieve and be free and equal before the state.
The idea of human rights is beautiful system where our humanity comes first before our 'sub identities' and if every country in the world adopted these values, it would lead to a mankind at peace with itself.
I'd welcome an alliance with PL feminists who are fighting for equality. It's garbage that Islam says women are inferior to men, so why are women judged as equals to men in the here-after? why does god see them as equal but your islamic law doesn't? it's cause your islam is corrupt with 1400 years of different kingdoms and time period.
Women have 'equal' names to 'men' and they also 'abtirso' in Somalia indicating full equality. A woman doesn't lose her name in Somalia nor Islam, indicating she has the same level of equality in her humanity as a man does.
I hope Somali feminists stand with Somali Secularists, there is no better system then 'freedom, equality, justice' for all and any system in the world that is against these 'values' you will find their tyrants who want to control people.
