They haven't exactly said what is being discussed other then the conflict has clearly been returning between the SFG and PL since 2009 till today, this underlining unresolved issue has repeatedly returned irrespective of who is leading PL, it can even be used by any politician to stir conflict between the SFG for personal interest on both sides. But to deny the underlying issue is madness of a stupidity level.
Now this self isolation by PL isn't productive either while we watch the SFG/PL conflict. I suspect I know what the issue is. We must make it clear to Mogadishu we desire a federalism that is inline with the PL model so they don't 'twist or play' word games.
We must demand what is their philosophy, which i suspect there is none which can only lead to their leaders to 'oppose' PL out of nothing more then 'anagu ma tashan, idinku ma tashan kartan' mentality ama 'talo ma haayi ileen beesheena aragti malaha iyo talo rac noqon maayo'. That type of mentality their is no win-win for anyone.
This requires then PL to say we cannot remain in this position where your clan has no philosophy, why are u seeking power if your not guided by a philosophy(aragti, masiir) are u here only to oppose anything working and not value add and just revert to making money on the SFG? We must not shy away from telling them constructive criticism(mid iyagu wax ka wanaag uu keeni kara) rather then shower them with 'destructive patriotism and songs' where it's leading nowhere for them.
This is false patriotism is going to foster more hatred between somalis becuz people in the nation who are ready to move on, have an aragti/masiir, have elites to execute it into political goals, plus social unity thru their 'isimo' are feeling their held hostage to what is essentially a 'mogadishu centric' problem that flames out effecting the nation either directly(south) or indirectly(PL SL).
