I read on idil a compromise solution was given to Deni by one of the 3 Major Parties, Sincad and Jabiye told Deni accept an in-direct parliament election thru the 3 official parties. He saves face also that it's a popular election by the people thru parliament mechanism and opposition can accept that also.

He was told Right now we are in a deadlock. Two Isimo Camps and 1 is headed by Suldanka Harti and Warsangeli and Second is Boqor Burhan in Garowe. It's predicted the badhan conference will endorse Deni Model of popular election giving him 'isimo legitimacy' while Boqor Burhan endorses Opposition giving 'legitimacy' to their 66 model.

Great blood-shed will happen of epic porportions as both sides believe their right and have Isimo backing. It's the same dilemma hawiye suffered due to careless isimo saying 'ali gar leh, aideed gar leh' both were fuelled as having 'legitimatcy'.

This is clearly khayrul masul on our Isimo part to not put aside their interests and only work on a model that both can accept to bring them out from two extreme positions(66 MP vs 1m1v).

Pls note Khatumo all your successes will be un-done as the Isimo of Harti will call upon Boqor Burmadow again due to 'their disunity and needing external mediator' and he will want a 'trade off' so Isaaqs are waiting in 'glee'. I ask if he is macangag becuz he is endorsing another macangag GAAS for PM spot. A macangag is someone 24/7 asking 'what's in it 4 me' it's an 'extreme' position and comes with 'extreme' losses always as he starts to find ppl see him as unworkable. The in-direct election of president and vice-president by MPs is unacceptable. It is the same system of the Somali Republic in the 1960s. Those 3 parties are limiting our democratic potential. They are doing it primarily as a sneaky way of getting rid of Deni as he is more popular than them.

Deni should continue with his stubborness, it is going great. People are openly insulting the isimo, I love it. Fucking trash people, I can't wait till they are sent back to the rural areas.

My dad said Somalis do not know 'art of compromise or negiotation' and only see their perspective extremely, they don't 'calculate or provide weight to anything opposed too it' nor do they calculate 'trade offs' of their extreme position and if it's better off in long run taking a 'lesser deal' then waiting 4 your extreme sided deal like Palestinians, 1948 deal haday iska qaadan lahayeen was generous but the 'extreme' side of them didn't see that now their going to discuss 'gaza' sharing.

These ppl who lack ability to see what can come from extreme sided solutions are not good politicians.

@repo I am definitely against moryan opposition or SYL parliament mechanism. But as a grown man u also 'calculate' the trade off. I want Khatumo to exist and not do another 'ceel-afwayn' khiyaano which we had to rectify with $35 million in this war and 15 years of land-losses(incrementally as they adopted the IDF model, the divide/conquer and crawl method to 'yoocade' applying this secretly over a long duration 15 years, bit by bit gets u to ur final outcome yoocade philosophy without raising eyebrows), plus it 'wounded' PL legitimacy, plus caused great damage at 'social level relations'.

Is that worth the trade off as a war will happen when two sides are on extreme positions and isimo backing it is even a worse outcome, this will sow great division as they will have to agree to an external mediator wink wink burmadow is waiting in 'glee' and he won't come if their isn't something in it 4 him and we know what that was in ceel-afwayne 'khiyaano' and what it cost us 15 years later.

What is the compromise here? It is removing direct popular elections. Their obsession with Deni should not result in the people compromising their future and their ability to vote for their leader.

None of them come out and talk about hospitals, schools, water and electricity. It's "Deni, Deni, Deni" because the truth is, they want what he has. They don't want to better the people of Puntland. They want access to money and power. If they thought themselves better than Deni, they would compete in popular elections.

Do people that make compromise suggestions think they are smarter than the average geeljire in Somalia? They are not. I am very happy to see the isimo facing backlash as they cause much of the fitnah. @DR OSMAN there has been an evolution in political thought. Lets not go back.

@Abdalla I honesty believe we are cursed by Siyad barre 'dal wa jiraya lakin dad ma jirayo' as that can explain why for 30 years these ppl are in constant cycle of wax baan waayay politics iyo tolkayga ayaan kicinaya and ppl die like cannon fodder and afterwards they yell 'miska halaysku yimaado' and they 'repeat' this like clock-work for 30 years. It's gotta be macangags using their own interest and then putting their clan inside a 'clan trance' that it's some 'clan interest' lol and the 'cannon fodder' willingly 'dies' for the macangag who then usually goes back to the diaspora with no accountability, this cycle repeats for 30 years without fail or without change.

Macangag iyo aragti gaabani combined with khayrul masuliyeed is what I think siyad meant by 'dad ma jirayo' and 'cannon fodder jahil foot soldier'
