I urge Puntite we follow the following rural development method.

All 50 or so districts must have the following.

1. District Office and Council led by a Mayor
2. Civil n Criminal Courts, Police station
3. Primary/Secondary School
4. MCH and General and Referral Hospital

Phase 2 Development

1. Road development, especially a road connecting to the main highway for trade n access purposes
2. Water supply with 'water treatment' plants and grid system
3. Electricity Backbone on a grid
4. Creating an industry for that town by inviting investors to reduce unemployment.
5. Creating clean markets for food n fruit/vegetables trade. Having food inspectors in each town to monitor livestock quality n fruit/vegetable quality.

Phase 3 Development

1. Begin measuring health and school outcomes
2. Expand the road network inside the town
3. Expand life-spans by creating a 'senior clinic' for common diseases effecting the elderly and it's treatment
4. Reduce infant mortality rates and early child deaths thru immunisation n mch investment

Please send this blue-print for development to each of our districts and tell them get to work.

Already they have their own blue print.

All 3 phases of development can be done quickly.

China is planning on building 8000 schools in Iraq within 2-3 years! In the same deal China will also be building hospitals. In the Same deal they are building 15 hospitals and four medical cities. If they can do, so can we.

No more squandering around. We need build schools and hospitals ASAP. I am willing to contribute to a public fund for this as will a lot of Puntites. Puntland is my heart. I am giving on Xamar more and more everyday. I guess it's truly every man for himself the way things are panning out

@anon2 Puntland should focus on the 'bigger tasks' effecting our whole region, especially low confidence from FDI or Diaspora. We don't have product/good safety n quality standards, services delivered is usually sub-par level requiring foreign workers. How can we tell china to invest billions in such an insecure market place, when ppl with a lot less are being robbed n sold faulty products, bad quality homes, and general market chaos.

Puntland needs to standardize our market place, set up watch-dogs who we can report faulty products/services rendered, we need companies to start providing warranty for anything above $1000. Suuq nidaamsan will bring diaspora n foreigners rushing as they will have more confidence they won't be ripped off.

When someone is spending billions, they want to make sure that state has proper contract laws, dispute laws, real court enforcement to promote healthy investor environment.

@anon2 I want to implement in our schools competition, best student gets a new car, second best gets a new phone, 3rd place student gets something. I think competition n reward mechanism will ensure students remain engaged n learn better.

I would also do teacher evaluation each year on who the best teachers are and use their model of teaching across all the schools. Teacher recognition is needed.

Yes the insecurity is an issue, but I believe we can strike a deal with China (they are willing to go anywhere, even the DRC which is less secure than all of Somalia) they already are stealing our fish so why not figure out a plan in which they send some workers or trainers, along with materials we need.

Security is an issue but it's something that can worked around if needed. It would only cost 1-3 billion and 5 years of extensive building for roads, hospitals, schools, police stations and ports to built/fixed

Yes that is a great idea, people need incentive to do things, and incentive will lead to competition.

Teacher evaluation is a must as well, teachers can be hired from places like Awdal and Jijiga as well if needed. Once word is spread that PL has the best school system and rewards teachers. Scholars from all parts will rush to teach there.

The availability to education and healthcare, roads, and a strong police will lead to a high trust society. Once these thing are established, everything else will be very easy

@DR OSMAN why you dont apply for MP seat in PL.

My grandfather is the 'isim of bah dubays' In PL isim n politics are never mixed. I can only help bah dubays when I take over the isim role. I can advice puntland politicians only when they meet with the isimo.

There is-alot of work I have to do with other ISIMO families in PL, one of my biggest goals is to get us to 'dis-arm' or at least put our weaponry in 'safe storages away from civilian hands'. So this is one big task I want to participate in with other isimo when my time comes. I'll get PL govt to pay the 'weapons storage' building in each district and only trusted isimo can manage it's access.

The other big goal is to 'green up' puntland, I want to leave behind that legacy where we restore our land to be lush. If those two things are done, I am happy to die and let puntites take our homeland further

The prospect of gobol governors, district commissioners, and mayors being elected thru 1m1v is very promising. I genuinely trust the people of Puntland to elect responsible and qualified leaders more than I trust our president(s) selections for these positions.

Bro act like the Saudi Crown prince MBS.
He's not the king as of yet, but he has been running the country almost 8 years and he's only 36.
He started running the country when he was 27.
Don't wait for the perfect time
