Inshallah the Badhan Puntites and the Somali people everywhere will be relieved of drought issues with the renewed focus after completion of the elections.

We need however a more long term national solution to food and water distribution. The climate is going to worsen over the next decade

Badhan and Sanaag communities has always been the centre of poverty and terror hide outs because of Somaliland government,SL has been undermining Puntland anti terror task force campaigns and movements in Sanaag.

Puntland it's flipping flapping residents of Badhan nneeds to know who is on their side and who is there to take advantage of,Badhan rise is because of PL and the two are directly correlate.

Badhan or Baran as a village when PL was founded and is big city now, PL realized Badhan is an strategical town and so does their residents as well, these Policies are the reason that even Reer Badhan Idps request Puntland government's help in hard and drought times lke this.

The poverty is cap Badhan has a growing middle class population, I agree that the disputes with SL made it impossible for Sanaag to grow but it did. Badhan about to have the only shopping mall in Sanaag no more going to other cities for shopping
