Correct to game you need a gaming pc, the difference is you can play pc exclusive titles and have a boss pc that never lags when you aren't gaming since it's so powerful.

It is more expensive but that can be mitigated if you build it yourself of course you need to know how to do that so for the avg person a console is wiser but pc gaming is superior platform all things considered if you have the money.

Also it is very easy to pirate single player games on pc, torrent sites have majority of single player games so you save money on games in the long run by not dropping constant $60.
