You are right on, why is one ethncity more important then the other, if they protest they should protest for all

And the People's Power Revolution that overthrew the Marcos Government in the Philippines was entirely peaceful and immediately effective.

Also literally every Civil Rights Legislation was implemented because someone protested

In short protesting can work but in order for resistance to succeed, the person you're resisting has to be logical, good, and not willing to see you dead, but the majority of world leaders don't have such values so the success rate is low.
