The Mogadishu airport passenger fee fiasco and another lesser known incident involving govt soldiers barging their way into universities in Xamar to extort students were both orchestrated by officials within the FGS. HSM's administration is running out of funds with the state minister of foreign affairs and the president himself recently courting countries outside of the UAE for budgetary support.
Just some of the corruption he highlighted in this video:
1. Government contracts handed over to inner circle loyalists and close family members.
2. The FGS cabinet under the PM is lifeless with the low quality ministers in need of replacing. Most of the tasks and functions of the cabinet have been delegated to the executive office (President). As a result of this lack of expertise, potential funds from the world bank intended for projects to be carried out throughout Somalia are not being utilized.
The government has chosen instead to occupy its time with retrieving and selling public land. It seems HSM has not learned anything from his past stint as President.
