Mekelle? is not Mekelle the TPLF head quarters? Does this mean Mekelle and the TPLF elite will use Eritrean port?

:) No, All Ethiopian owned cargo vessels have Ethiopian city names like Mekelle, Bahrdar, Hawassa, Semera etc. and the first vessel that today docked at port Massawa was Mekelle. But that is just coincidence, all will soon be docking soon. All the ships are owned by the federal Government and have nothing to do with the states other than the names.

Okay, but how Oromo and Habeshas can benefit from this port, TPLF will not allow any transport passing by.

TPLF will allow, it is the federal government that is doing the business and TPLF can only say something on local issues. Even if it blockes, which it will never do, they can only do it for Massawa because the Addis-Assab route doesn't go through Tigray but Afar. But there will be no blocking of the federal government by TPLF. Btw, it is not Amhara-Oromo benefiting but rather Ethiopian federal government aka the Ethiopian State benefiting.
