Demographics are destiny. We are living in interesting times.
Africa has long been underpopulated due to improper farming and disease in much of the interior stopping large urban settlements. Africa has overcome this and is now booming. In the future when Africa becomes a continent of over 3.5 - 4 billion which it can do easily with just being middle Income will instantly make Africa a force on the world stage.
Naturally many ethnicities in Africa have been Tring to cop up land and make themselves the most urbanised and populus so they can shape their respective nations in their image. Africa is going through its nation building phase rn and just like in places like Europe, the countries are often defined by a dominant ethnicity/tribe which obsorbs everyone else into it's sphere to centralise the nation. Africans are trying to make sure their tribe is the one that dominates the nation.
You can see this with oromo in Ethiopia who are tyring to take up somali and others lands and slowly absorbing the populace so they can shape the future Ethiopia into their image. Somalis need to stay on the game and play smart.
Somalis should work on preserving their lands in Ethiopia (galbeed) from oromo incursions, economically dominate and populate Kenya and centralise somalia and we will be set to dominate east Africa.
