Let's salute our African brothers and sisters who came to rescue Somalia from us, Somalis.

The African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) has honoured 159 Nigerian Police officers on foreign mission in Somalia for exemplary service.

The officers, who are part of AMISOM’s Formed Police Unit (FPU), were awarded medals and certificates at a colourful ceremony presided over by Maj. Gen. Fidza Dludlu, the AMISOM Head of Mission Support.

Dludlu described the officers as true ambassadors of Nigeria and African Union, as the contingent excelled in its role of providing operational support to Somali Police Force (SPF).

He observed that the contingent accomplished its duties in total compliance and adherence to African Union core values, which include respect for diversity, teamwork, integrity, impartiality, efficiency and professionalism, among others.

Nigerians Are as much of a brother and a sister to us as the Pakistanis are...

:hova:I'll take that back we share biryaani and jabaati with the Pakistanis..nigerians are to us more like the Koreans...

They are our brothers and sisters because we share the same continent and they help us and see us as their brothers/sisters.
Pakis don't care about Somalia and Somalis and we are not related.

So how do Nigerians care about Somalia and how are we related to Nigerians again?

Nigeria is not helping Somalia rather they are in it for the UN AMISOM paycheck monthly salary of a soldier being 4000 dollars. Those Bantu countries are not in it out of goodwill.

We are both.......................... Africans!?

So a continental relationship..so everyone in that continent are brothers and sisters.. like how Japanese and Yemenis are related right...?

Or how Norwegians are related to the turks..

I see ...:ehh: why didn't you say so?

24 Pakistanis representing UN died in 1990s in Mogadishu... they must be our first brothers
somalis and nigeria are both black.
nigiera is helping us via amisom ofc

Colour does not define relationship..

There are armies of dozen countries in Iraq.. let me guess, they must be related due to their "helping" hands

If you knew how much more these policemen get in Somalia than they do back home as well as the luxury perks, you wouldn't be parading them.

Furthermore, the amount of hard cash given to each nation that participates in AMISOM is crazy.

They do not care about Somalia, that money could've funded multiple militaries.

If Japs and Yemis are part of the same continental organization then yes.

So what you are saying is that one becomes related to others by what internationally recognised organisation body's they find themselves in???

So Somalis must be related to Indians and kikuyus simultaneously due to their shared Kenyan nationality...:umwhat:

I am little slow, please simplify it for me..how are we related to Nigerians through topography?

I pray for them and those among us [who let them loose], to come to a slow and painful end.

Why are your peoples content with being ruled by these aids ridden xolo from the jungle?
Surely they are a bigger threat to your respective clans than each other?

Well the term black was mainly used to describe the descendants of slaves, stripped of their identity in the Americas. It was extended to include the bantu ethnic groups inhabiting colonial africa, where the slaves were originally acquired from.
Since Somalis:
1) were never slaves
2) are not a bantu ethnic group
Somalis are not black. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_in_Somalia
