This is quite brazen how an IDP naflacari has the balls to do this in a city that isn't theirs. This shows me only how weak PL security team about 'immediately removing' these vermins from Galkacyo, they have been given enough chances to stop hosting shababis in their camps and they have failed to heed these calls. Immediate deportion is required. Just pack them up, especially the males and send them back to the south.

Wallahi a huge crack-down is needed where the southy no longer can live in the north. We must install 'vehicle scanners' and 'people' scanners at the checkpoints and ensure no-one can entered the town without being 'scanned' thru by x-ray machines and metal detectors.

This has to be a daily security measure. If this was installed, their would be no way they can enter the town concealing weapons or grenades. We must also find out the 'hawala accounts' of IDP and monitor transactions being sent from the 'south', if money is being sent to them from the south, it's usually shabab who is paying them to kill an official.

The Hawala companies must report all the IDP accounts to the PL authorities and provide 'daily reports' on transactions to these people, if anything suspicious is found from the 'south', the police must investigate that account.

We also demand an 'elder' represent these communities, if a criminal is found from his community, the elder must be held responsible and deported and another elder selected, if he fails, deport that elder, and keep doing it till they know they cannot host shabab in their camps.

I demand all financial records from southern somalia in PL hawala system be reported to the authorities daily, they must 'trace' why and where this money came into PL and for what purpose, especially if it's an account of someone who isn't a local in PL, because this is obvious 'shabab transaction' to pay someone in our camps to do a 'hit' on an official. Surely people are not that stupid in PL, start cracking down, this is unacceptable and been ongoing for years now, since these people have come into PL, assasination after assasination is all u hear. @SomaliMVP my policy would be to remove any person with origins from an area that is under shabab control. They are to much of a risk to PL security. These kids get called by shabab who control their villages and 'warn them' if they do not carry out a 'kill' that their family will pay the price. They funnel logistics thru the 'traders' is my bet also going from southern somalia to PL and meet up at Galkacy to exchange the weapons. We can no longer house these people, they are risk to PL people. They have to go is the best solution. If that isn't possible, watch them like a hawk.

They must report their 'hawala accounts' to PL and all hawalas told they can not open any account for IDP without PL authority permission and they need to report IDP accounts daily to the authorities so they can examine the financial flows from the south. All southern somalia cash flows must be scrutinized and officials must follow it and find out what the purpose behind the money was to the IDP. The southies in the south will not send money to IDP in PL since they are workers or traders and usually the money is sent from PL back to the south to help their families.

So I would consider all southern transaction as suspicious since it doesn't make sense why a southy is sending money to an IDP in PL who is labourer-trader or other profession in PL. It's definitely only shabab sending that money as no-one in the south has the capacity financially.

Everytime a Puntland official is killed, it's a Bantu or eelaay. How many times must I repeat that those IDP camps must be shut down and these people sent home?

Unfortunately, Puntites don't value hard work and would rather hand over manual jobs to shisheye and now even Oromo.

Most of the Shabaab that get caught are from the south and naturally come through Galmudug.
