People who always recite short surahs for every rakah

What do you think about them? It's obvious why they use short surahs in all rakats. It should only be for 1 rakat during 4 rakat salat. It's only understandable to new Muslims or old people.

i use ikhlas soo often (reason being its the shortest) that i forgot the rest of the quran. This one time, we visited a place and i had to be the imam. Now, you cant recite ikhlas for all the rakas since that'd be weird. So, in the middle of the salah, i had to think of what to recite for the next rakah. i was soo scared i might fumble and expose myself. alhamdulilah tho, everything went well

It’s fine. I recite from anywhere but the length never goes past half a page, unless it’s taraweeh

There is nothing wrong with reciting short Surahs aslong as one is shorter then the other its not like they are repeating the same surah and it's only ever 2 rakats in the fard prayers where you have to ever read more then the fatiaha. Although for different prayers it's better to read from specific areas of the quran since its split into 3 parts when it comes to praying them in sallah but it's not a must. You shouldn't be so judgemental that could cost you. after all you dont know whats in there heart.

This is a weird post even for you especially since you complained about your parents always being judgemental about you
