According to FTDNA Somali E-FT18121 shares an ancestor with them 3950 years ago so probably diverged somewhere in modern Egypt’s deserts or Upper Egypt/Lower Nubia with the Somali clade entering the Horn 3000 years ago, an entire millenium after the initial Cushitic wave 1000 years prior.

Apparently they are actually of Yemeni origin and belong to the clan of the current puppet President of Yemen (Saudi supported govt based in Aden)
