I think that's one of the worst things a kid could ever have.
Personally I had an overprotective mother,
She did everything for me even until I was a teenager
She let me go out with almost people after class and if I'm going out with friends to go to the parks she absolutely wanted to know who they were to the point of wanting to talk to them to find out if they had bad intentions downright cross-examination the thing
Once when I was 18, when I wanted to do stuff with my friends, they asked me if they were using drugs, to beware so that they wouldn't influence me to do illegal stuff.
I remember when I was a child I was a very anxious person, I had panic attacks I went directly to see my mother if I was afraid of something, if in middle school I didn't see that she was coming to pick me up after work and that she was late after 1 or 2 hours after daycare so I started crying with big tears thinking that something serious had happened to her or that I was going to stay here for life, all the children were looking at me ridiculously, the animators were carrying me in their arms telling me that I was going to be fine, they did not know what to do since I was in a state of crisis and uncontrollable so they were watching if my aunt/uncle could look for me.
it seems trivial but when you're 19/20 years old, when you're supposed to live your best years, it's very disturbing, always having to justify yourself, say who you were with, what you did.
This was the case for me for a very long time, especially during adolescence, lack of authority that portrays on me, lack of firmness, I have long lacked self-confidence. Always in avoidance and never in conflict.
And maybe also looking for a father figure, hence the fact that I admired a lot of my friends.
In short, I have an absolute hatred of addiction now, I don't want to depend on anything or anyone, I do absolutely EVERYTHING alone in my life.
