"إننا نعتز، ونعترف، لخليفة المسلمين السلطان الأعظم محمد رشاد خان الخامس - وللدولة العلية، العثمانية، أيدها الله بالحماية المطلقة، واليد الطول القوية لأننا من التابعين له، المتمسكين بعرش الخلافة الإسلامية العثمانية، وسلاطينها من آل عثمان العظام، أيدها الله بذي الأزمان، واننا لا نعترف ولا نعز لغير خليفة المسلمين بتبعية دينية أو علاقة سياسية"​

translation:
"...We take pride in and acknowledge the Caliph of the Muslims, the Supreme Sultan Muhammad Rashad Khan the Fifth — and the exalted Ottoman State, may God support it with absolute protection and a strong, far-reaching hand. For we are among his followers, firmly loyal to the throne of the Ottoman Islamic Caliphate and its sultans from the great family of Othman, may God support them throughout the ages. And we do not recognize, nor do we give allegiance to, anyone other than the Caliph of the Muslims, whether in religious allegiance/following or political relationship..."
