I like this guy already wow. Hes even an author of his own book and has experience working inside european governments. Only downside is, if hes installed is it because he was backed by them? We dont need another white mans chess piece

To win elections in somalia you must pass the 2 blessed requirements :
1. Have enough lacaag to bribe peope
2. Come from one of the politically relevant qabils
Its that simple process for MPs , Senator , State governor and president .

Of course other stuff helps , being a good speaker ( they’ll call you autistic or a dawac if you cant talk well ) being well known ( even if its for bad reasons ) being charismatic and aesthetically pleasing ( somalis love slandering and insulting people , you dont want to be an easy target ) All that is also considered but without the first 2 points you got no hope .
Adeer seems smart and well connected but somalia is a cutthroat business , he’d be better off as foreign minister

This guy looks competent he has no chance

If you're not a taxi/uber/bus driver or a welfare king/ex-warlord turn religious scholar that puts you out the presidential candidacy

He fought hard to expose a EU funded Corruption scheme FGS was doing, he called Somalia the "Kingdom of Corruption", he also exposed vote-buying in the government in 2020, he has a manifesto called "my life for somalia" where he explains his motivations and exposes the current issues with the FGS system and how he would fix it, couldnt find the book online but it has very interesting content and critiques

Now that I think about it, if Somali politicians are buying votes for 1M$ it means theyre expecting a return on investment once they get the seat, so theres literally no way they dont steal lacaag

Realistically he's not known enough to be elected, and he doesnt seem to be doing enough xayeeysiis so theres no way he wins

Qabil is a secondary thing, what matters is how old youve been in the game, if no one knows you, youre gonna have to drop millions to have a chance to get elected

Interesting, here he explains why Somalia is doomed to be the most corrupt country in the world as long as one man one vote isnt adopted, go to 3:00, he explains it very well mashallah
