They also call anyone who dares question, criticise or oppose Farmaajo as "unpatriotic" and "spoilers". Farmajo's kin and fans, also go online and insult politicians, to the extent where most have expressed their disgust. Somalia's political discourse has changed from "Federalism & how it should be done" to "N&N vs everyone". These people have a habit of turning Somali politics into hero worship of one person who becomes "infallible".
This didn't happen during Shariif's time or even HSM. For all their faults, they didn't inspire this demented behaviour.. plus Farmajo was allowed to campaign and oppose HSM.. from Kenya of all places.
Even Khayre, who used to be the hero of Farmajo's cult, was painted as a villain as soon as he fell out with Farmajo.
