I said this last month. Gen Z males are more into rating other men than actually approaching women. He looks normal to me, but I’m not into dudes so I’m not the best judge.
What really matters are his policies and whether he’s a net positive for the party. So far, he’s generic with no charisma. Maybe he’s solid behind the scenes but I don’t think he’s the right pick.

The picture that the original viral tweet used was from a screenshot of a video and it was intentionally screenshotted at an angle that made him remind people of Captain Phillips and the racists hopped on it quick, followed by prominent right wing grifters like Charlie Kirk so the plan worked. He’s basically on track to win now, either guaranteed or very close. I remember reading an article a day or two ago about how big a deal a DFL endorsement would be, and how securing 60% of delegates is the key.
What’s likely going to happen is that the two other candidates will eventually rally their supporters behind him and throw their support his way, especially to counter Frey
If he wins mayor, there’s definitely going to be a big meltdown at first, but it'll pass. People forget he was a state senator for years and a very effective one, but nobody really paid much attention to him back then. He’s not like Ilhan Omar he’s going to stay focused on city issues. I don’t think he’ll get into national or global politics, or say much about AIPAC. At least, that’s how it looks for now.
It's because of the high threshold you need to reach to win, you need at least 60% and that hasn't happened for any mayoral candidate in 16 years.
