I think this is their plan, they don’t have support in Hararghe they probably just want to stir the pot and decisively get people to claim Oromo over their Muslim identity (and in some cases, their Somali/Dir identity).

ONLF and OLF used to be best buds idk how this happened, unless either the OLA’s organizational structure has disintegrated to such a degree that local clan beef (Hararghe Oromo vs Dir) can take precedence over general policy OR the ONLF itself greenlit this (unlikely).

In some cases ONLF and OLF soldiers were in the same trenches against Woyane tyranny…. it seems people don’t remember why the Woyane terrorists fell and because of this Abiy Ahmed will stay in power until he is a old man.
