Police officers saved park-goers from a pair of attacking pit bulls in a central Topeka park early Thursday afternoon. Shortly after 2:00 p.m., police started receiving several calls about two pit bulls that were attacking people in Chesney Park, SW 19th St. and SW Clay St. One caller told authorities that at least one person was bitten on the arm, foot, leg, and hand.
These damn pit bulls are out of control.
