But I really really hope Somalia gets a decent music industry.

I want Somali to have a nice music sense. Traditional and classy like let's say Eritrea or Sudan. I don't want us to fall into the blingy rap bullshit that's taking third worlders by storm. We've already got our main artists recycling afrobeat hits and putting Somali lyrics it's a shame.

Algeria and Egypt have very good music scenes and produced world class musicians.
