I don’t understand why they’re eager to claim Egyptian ancestry. Why not west African? Why isn’t that more interesting?

Personally don't care about this but why don't Holywood go for the many different myths from various cultures and stories in history without revising history to make it woke like they did in that woman king movie. Plus accurately represent and cast people of that culture.

It's not like Egyptians are white either but they would be totally happy if a white person played an Egyptian role but then again cleopatra is Greek but regardless i think this happens because controversy gets people talking more especially with all the cadaans that will be going crazy and the mathows celebrating it's fun to watch the beef and memes from the side line :pachah1:

They could have chosen any other Pharaoh to be depicted by a black woman but Cleopatra? I swear she was a white woman.

The truth is there were black, white and middle eastern rulers. But cleopatra was white.
Hatshepsut should be played by a maaryoole woman
I just seen a cartoon where a little cadaan girl cosplayed as Hetshepsut. I expected the comments to go in on her but they only have that energy for blacks cosplaying as white
:dead:

Cleopatra probably looked like a modern day Greek/Middle Eastern woman.

Some Pharaohs were indeed black, especially when the Nubians took over. If they wanted to depict black people they could have easily have chosen another Ancient Egyptian queen/Nubian.

Eh, the majority were light brown skinned, and they weren't Middle Easterners either. An extremely small amount for a short period of time were black, Nubian at that. They didn't even look like West Africans. Towards the end, with the Ptolemaic Dynasty, Greeks ruled. And Greeks aren't that light either. Overall, the ruling by non-Egyptians is over exaggerrated. Wallahi though, why do these West African descended people always claim everyone else's history. It's such clown behavior.

Egyptian are mixed and the modern population of Egypt are the decendents of all the black/white/middle eastern rulers of Egypt in the past. The copts are there own ethnic group made from all those change in rulers and occupations for the most part the demographics didn't change only the ruling class did who eventually were mixed out by the Egyptian populous.
