I think so. But the airport looks like its around 10km from the coast. The airport and port will be split by a highway shown in the design.
The area is bigger than the map paints it out to be. It's actually spread out 25km from Ceel Macaan to Warsheikh.
The video mentions the free zone will be 1 million square meters which is significantly bigger than the current port but not the size of anything else.
Interesting, what will happen to the old port when this one is finished?

Under HSM’s second term, Middle Shabelle/East Galmudug became Shabaab free from Ceeldheer to Adan Yabaal to Balcad, Two oil blocks in Mareeg will be dug, major residential estate Xeebta Luulka in Kaaraan and soon a modern port and airport. HSM loves his people and we love him too

It's basically building a new modern city, and two modern dry ports with the connecting highways. Just that will cost more billions, never mind a train connection. Where are we getting the money?
