Nearly a year since s(elections), how would you rate HSM's tenure so far?

How would you rate HSM tenure so far?

He's exceeded my expectations can't lie. I didn't think the office of the mayor of Xamar could ever stoop so low and become such a laughing stock. The amount of buffoonery from his administration and it hasn't even been a year, it's astounding.

He has been doing better than I expected. He has kept most of his campaign promises. On top of defeating shabaab if he delivers independent. Banaadir administration then he has my support for re-elections.

He’s doing everything in his power (Villa seat still ain’t that powerful) but it’s disappointing he’s had to legitimise term extensions in FMS’s. But understandable given he’s got bigger priorities at federal level with constitution, Shabaab, debt relief, 1m1v, arms embargo etc. So cannot replicate Farmaajo’s brute force in replacing FMS leadership

Waw you were expecting him to defeat shabaab and sieging the Khawaarij headquarters in central Somalia, in less than a year at that. War we need your political commentary here.

:feedme:
In fairness I did say in early 2022 it wasnt as hard as people were making it out under N&N. But you are correct in that it happened a lot quicker under HSM than most thought it would
shabaab are not the Vietcong or Taliban, a serious organized offensive that went from village to village can take their territories, in July they tried to do it in Mudug but it didn't have nearly enough resources because it was diverted during the election Bs.

I can now travel from my house in Mogadishu to xaradhere and not bump into Shabaab. He’s done this in less than a year. When development starts in liberated lands, I’ll put a frame of HSM in my living room :salute:

Much better than I have expected to be honest, considering how his last term was. I just hope the government can retain the momentum against al shabaab and importantly help establish some lasting institution in the liberated terrritories so the gains aren't lost again in a few years. I could care less about the corruption of his administration if after his term we have achieved some lasting succes against the khwaraij

I am kind mixed on this . He did well in talking the fight to Al-Shabab, strengthening ties with neighbouring countries and also building ties with most of federal state members .

But he also empowered beesha hawiye to the max while choosing cucks to represent Darood interest while totally ignoring SSC issues .

This is probably the best and honest answer on this thread
