Maybe reduce the Federal governments cut to 50% and increase the cut to the federal state to 30% but this seems like a reasonable approach.

I agree the FGS’s cut is way too large, considering they’ll be getting a cut from all the FMS’s oil revenue it should be reversed.

This is pretty solid deal if all parties have agreed to it, giving our relatively small population, it’s enough to pull us out of extreme poverty. However, two things needs to be solved before the first drill takes place.

Strong laws to deter corruption.

SECURITY.

I think its great if the FGS uses it to link the country together like roads, education and security than they should have 55 percent. The rest could be used by the states for self building

I could agree with you but then we’d both be wrong

55% for the FGS is way too large. The producing Federal state should get at least 70% of the oil revenue. Else the FGS will be too powerful to control.

This is a daylight robbery. So if my beloved Burtinle extracts oil, it will only get 10% while Xamar gets 50% :drakekidding:

This agreement is ridiculous, who wants to give the majority of their oil revenue to the savages down south?
If you don’t like it why don’t you guys grow some balls and separate from Somalia.

I don’t get why people so surprised most of revenue is going to the south where the capital and the central government is

The funny thing is we overpowered them to sign in our favour at our weakest moment, now imagine when we become stronger (organised strong army) and stable (Fixed institutions), Mogadishu will be an unstoppable force.

Walee Somalidaa Mogadishu ma ka marmon, all Somalis are meant to be ruled by Mogadishu.

We are in a federal system, we aren’t separatists so leaving is out of the question. I’d prefer 25% to the FGS and 55% to the FMS.

Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Seriously?! Galnus and Huuroshabeelle are too weak to even have a say in this. A Darod president and two strong Darod states made this preliminary deal Xaaf and the other dude were just witnesses.

I support the centralism approach

But someone when I read these who2 posters I get second thoughts

Maybe mjs are right that centralism will only empower them :patrice:
